Jake's Juke Joint

This was our first time dining at Jake’s & we had the best experience. Our server, Tina, went above & beyond for us. She was fast, attentive & extremely nice. Our food was delicious. The highlight was the white BBQ sauce, but everything was terrific.

Jake’s Jukebox Joint is hands-down one of the best spots in Northport! The food is incredible — especially the burgers, which are some of the juiciest and most flavorful you’ll find anywhere. You can tell every dish is made with care and pride. What really makes this place stand out, though, are the owners and staff. They work hard every day to communicate with their customers, make everyone feel welcome, and go above and beyond to ensure every visit is a great one. It’s clear they genuinely care — not just about the people who walk through their doors, but about the whole community. Recently, Jake’s showed true class and compassion in how they responded to a tragic accident that happened right in front of their restaurant. The way they supported everyone involved and handled the situation speaks volumes about their character. It’s a warm, family-friendly atmosphere where good food, good music, and good people come together. Northport is lucky to have a place like Jake’s Jukebox Joint — highly recommend stopping by!

Busy Friday night but the wait was not bad at all. Definitely the juke joint vibe with a couple of bars and a stage. The burger had good flavor and the BBQ was moist and tender. And the fries. Lots of fries. A nice addition to the Northport food scene

We had our Northport Ladies Club lunch there this past week. The food was great and our server was over the top nice and accommodating. I had the Wildcat and it was fantastic! And those fries... Absolutely delicious. Our group of 11 got our food hot, fresh, and fast! The hype is true! Come get a taste

We went for the first time today. We arrived about 11:20 AM on Sunday. There were several people there already, but it was packed by noon. They had a Prime Rib special at a very reasonable price. Our server, Megan, was excellent! She answered all our questions and gave us various options, like the different additions to the Guinness Chili that I ordered. I got shredded cheese and sour cream. Both come on the side. The Chile is so good! It's got just the right amount of spicy kick! The shredded cheese and sour cream helped calm the kick. I also got the grilled cheese sandwich. It was perfect! Just like Mom used to make! There were four (4) halves! I proceeded to dunk the grilled cheese in my chili. Yum!!! My son, Matthew, got the Sticky Pickle Burger and French Fries. Oh man it looked good! I tried several of the french fries. I loved them! Appeared to be fresh hand cut. Matthew said that the burger was outstanding! He ordered two (2) beef patties. The pickles were deep-fried. He said that the BBQ sauce was very tasty. The bun was very fresh too. The beef was flavorful and juicy. It sure looked good, and he loved it! We were stuffed, but we ordered a dessert to go, for later. The dessert was called "All Gas, No Brake". It consists of a Honeybun, wrapped in bacon, and covered in strawberry compote. OMG!!!! We just heated it in the microwave, and split it. We covered ours in whipped cream. The flavor combos were fantastic! Maybe it's a good thing that we don't live close enough to eat at J³ every day.

A diamond in the rough. A fun, relaxed, and entertaining place to eat. The food is great, I especially love the Wildcat Burger and the Phatt Philly. Everything has a homemade flavor and can't be duplicated anywhere around town. Plus it has two bars can several TV's. Management and staff are great. Shauna is the best GM and probably thesweetest person I have ever met. Mr. Jake French, the owner, is a great man, and has poured his heart and soul into this place, and has done a phenomenal job. I'm a fan for sure! 5 ⭐

We live close by and visited for the first time recently, and really enjoyed the food! Waitress was kind and helpful. We visited at a random time so it wasn’t busy. Hubby and I both enjoyed what we ordered, and will definitely be back soon!

Update 12/26/25: still will give the 5 star review. Wings were delicious those messy fries were great! My husband got the chicken with bacon and honey mustard on it and he has still talked about that today. Food was delicious. Staff was friendly. Keep it up yall! Great spot. Chicken wings are delicious. That white BBQ sauce though was amazing! Pork chop was tender and a really good taste to it. Definitely recommend eating here.
